One-On-One Coaching
The coaching relationship starts out with completion of forms so that I can learn about YOU–
- your primary focus and goals
- your greatest strengths and weaknesses
- your biggest challenges and obstacles
- your behaviors and values
- your dreams and desires
Initially, we get together (in person or on the phone) to DESIGN THE ALLIANCE of how we are going to work together–what motivates you, how you handle failure, how accountable you want to be. After this initial meeting, coaching is usually done over the phone. You “meet” with me for thirty minutes three times per month. (I can also customize a program to meet your individual needs.) For each call, the AGENDA comes from the client. The coaching call will often end each time with an INQUIRY (something to think about) or HOMEWORK (something to do).
Some elements of my coaching include:
- Creating a confidential, safe, supportive and courageous space
- Designing an alliance with you–what motivates you, what your vision for your life is, what your values and passions are, how you want to be accountable, what your primary focus is-basically learning about YOU and how we will work together. It also includes discussion of my requests and goals for the coaching relationship.
- Holding your agenda-the big picture of your life-knowing that decisions are interconnected and effect all parts of your life-health, career, family, finances. My co-active coaching addresses your whole life.
- Dancing in the moment with you-ready to change course as you do your discovery work
- Asking powerful questions that take you deeper and challenge you to learn and grow and discover
- Use and encouragement of intuition and curiosity from both of us
- Trusting and knowing that you know what is best for you-you don’t need advice or to be fixed. My belief is you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole.
